The songs just fall out of this guy with the slightest shake—chorus spilling over killer chorus and heartbreaker open-chord drop-outs like the Raspberries used to do to make the kids in the front row sigh. He’d be at home writing and singing in any of the last five decades but you’ve got him right now, so don’t wait for the 2010s to have to come explain this back to you.
